Americans are increasingly using non-fungible tokens (NFTs) as holiday gifts. According to The Washington Post, many families in the US are already using NFTs as Christmas gifts.

Despite their interest in NFTs, the Americans still want to feel their presents which is why many make physical versions of the images on NFTs with 3D printers. Mariana Benton, who's in love with NFTs, said she'd made a special one with her daughter:

My daughter and I minted our first NFT together. We sat holding hands and clicked the button.

However, there are still those who don't get the hype. One of them is Emily Cornelius, whose boyfriend — an avid gamer — spends hours researching NFTs online. She says she would rather have "something that is meaningful." Cornelius believes that's the true idea of any gift.
