Blitmap, a community-crafted on-chain universe developed by Vine Co-Founder Dom Hofmann, has raised $12 million in a funding round led by Paradigm for its sub-project called "Sup."

Although no details about other investors were given, Sup wrote in a tweet it plans to use the proceeds to scale up the Blitmap universe, as well as develop new projects.

Founded in 2021, Blitmap is a gaming project based on the Ethereum network with NFT mechanics where users who own a thematic token can collectively take decisions on the main features of the story's universe.

In November last year, Paradigm, a crypto VC firm founded by Coinbase Co-Founder Fred Ehrsam and ex-Sequoia Capital partner Matt Huang, announced a $2.5 billion fund to accelerate crypto adoption.
