GameStop is readying the launch of a marketplace for non-fungible tokens (NFTs) that will compete with existing platforms in the space, like OpenSea and Rarible. The Texas-based game retailer has debuted a user waitlist on its subdomain: nft.gamestop.com GameStop had a few details to share on its upcoming platform, but it already revealed the address for its smart contract that will distribute GME tokens. It remains unclear though when GameStop plans to make an official announcement about the marketplace.

Earlier, To The Moon reported that Rarible's users can now mint their NFTs for free. With the new feature, users can drop their tokens for auction without paying any fees. This does not apply to buyers though who still have to pay the mint price.
