Rolling Stone has partnered with Meta on a joint initiative to host creator-focused hubs at festivals and custom events throughout 2022. According to Variety, the brands will first host the so-called "Creator Houses" event on March 18-19 at SXSW, an annual conglomeration of conferences in Austin.

Although no details were disclosed, the report said the companies will develop "unique and engaging experiences [to] explore the creative products and tools that support creators’ storytelling ambitions." These tools reportedly include Facebook's Reels, Meta Quest 2 VR headsets, and Ray-Ban smart glasses.

Rolling Stone CEO Gus Wenner says the initiative is "deeply meaningful" for companies as they both share a commitment to "champion creators and celebrate artists."

As part of the partnership, Rolling Stone and Meta will also drop a new Reels series dubbed "Behind the Creator," to describe the story of emerging creators at each Creator House activation. After SXSW, the brands will attend the Coachella Valley Arts and Music Festival in April this year. Read also: YouTube teases new features for creators
