TikTok is working on a new feature that will reportedly help users to find videos that appeared on their "For You" page but weren't saved in time. According to TechCrunch, the feature is similar to "watch history" on YouTube — even named the same way —and is available to some users as part of the test.

When reached for a comment, a spokesperson for TikTok told TechCrunch:

We're always thinking about new ways to bring value to our community and enrich the TikTok experience.

This isn't the first time though that users report about the "watch history" feature.

Earlier, TikTok user "rachforaday" posted a video showing that the feature is hidden in the search filters tab. Once users tap the button, they get a list of videos they've seen in the past seven days. The timeline for the feature to be available for all users wasn't revealed.

As To The Moon reported, TikTok has also expanded the pilot of its Snapchat-style stories feature, which the platform first confirmed in the summer of 2021. The feature basically works similar to Instagram, where stories last for 24 hours before they vanish.
