Donald Trump's upcoming social media network Truth Social is actively engaging with internet influencers, asking them to "reserve their spots" on the platform, Axios has learned.

According to influencers — whose identity remains undisclosed — Truth Social is reaching out to investors with the help of VIP representatives to find out if influencers would like to "reserve preferred username for when we launch in late February/early March."

It is also reported that several influencers, who were publicly posting anti-Trump content, were also among the recipients of the invitation. Axios found that the emails contained the dead contact number of a Palm Beach County area.

According to a listing on the Apple App Store, the social network plans to launch on February 21, 2022.
