Tothemoon Receives MiCA CASP Authorisation from CySEC
We are pleased to announce that Brilliantscope Trading Limited, the company operating under the Tothemoon trading name, has received authorisation from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission to act as a crypto-asset service provider under Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 on Markets in Crypto-Assets, commonly known as MiCA.
This is an important milestone for Tothemoon and reflects our continued commitment to operating within a clear, robust and harmonised European regulatory framework for crypto-asset services.
We would like to express our appreciation to the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission for its thorough review of our application and for the constructive supervisory process. We fully recognise the importance of MiCA for the development of a safer, more transparent and more resilient crypto-asset market in the European Union, and we are committed to complying with all applicable regulatory requirements on an ongoing basis.
Under its MiCA authorisation, Brilliantscope Trading Limited is authorised to provide crypto-asset services, including custody and administration of crypto-assets on behalf of clients, exchange of crypto-assets for funds, exchange of crypto-assets for other crypto-assets, execution of orders on behalf of clients, reception and transmission of orders for crypto-assets on behalf of clients, placing of crypto-assets and transfer services for crypto-assets on behalf of clients.
As part of this regulatory transition, from 1 July 2026, Brilliantscope Trading Limited will become the operator of the Tothemoon platform for clients in the European Economic Area. X Corp Sp. z o.o. will no longer provide services to clients previously served by it through the Tothemoon platform from that date.
The change of operator does not require users to create a new account. Existing users will continue to access the platform through the same Tothemoon website and applications, subject to the updated legal terms, policies and disclosures applicable to the regulated MiCA operating model.
We are updating our legal documentation, platform disclosures and user-facing materials to reflect the new regulated operator and the applicable MiCA framework. Users will be notified of the updated terms and may be required to review and accept them in order to continue using the platform services.
Brilliantscope Trading Limited will operate the platform in accordance with its MiCA authorisation and applicable EU and Cyprus regulatory requirements, including requirements relating to governance, safeguarding of client assets, transparency, operational resilience, AML/CFT, Travel Rule compliance, risk management and client communications.
Crypto-assets remain volatile and involve risk. The value of crypto-assets may increase or decrease significantly, and users may lose part or all of the value of their crypto-assets. Crypto-asset services are subject to specific risks and protections under applicable law, and users should carefully review the relevant risk disclosures and legal documents before using the platform.
We thank our users, partners and team for their continued trust and support. Tothemoon will continue to develop its services with a focus on regulatory compliance, security, transparency and long-term reliability.
