Is Staking cryptocurrency safe?

When you stake your crypto, you’re rewarded for providing your funds to support the blockchain. Your rewards can be accumulated by staking or are automatically sent to your wallet. The frequency of your rewards depends on the blockchain you choose to stake with.

How do I earn rewards?

You can unstake funds at any time. Rewards will stop accruing after the staking is closed, but you will get back the amount you used based on your selected staking option and unbonding period.

Can I unstake my funds at anytime? 

There are no gas fees when using Tothemoon’s staking solutions. But by self-staking you may incur fees and this non-custodial option can also be expensive to set up due to the amount of crypto required and computational power necessary to run nodes.

The rewards from staking are determined by the relevant protocol. However, you can influence the percentage of the APR by choosing a Fixed or Flexible Staking type. The Fixed type of staking implies a higher APR.

What is the amount of rewards I will earn?

The main difference is in the unbonding period.  Auf einem stark volatilen Markt kann es vorkommen, dass eine Order zu einem anderen Preis ausgeführt wird als erwartet. Hier ein Beispiel:  Wenn der Bid-Ask-Spread beim BTC-EUR-Paar bei 3460 € (Kaufangebot) zu 3469 € (Verkaufsangebot) liegt und du eine Market-Order zum Kauf von 1 BTC platzierst, erwartest du vielleicht, dass sie zu 3469 € ausgeführt wird. In der kurzen Zeit, die deine Order braucht, um die Börse zu erreichen, kann sich jedoch etwas ändern oder deine Kursdaten könnten leicht verzögert sein. Der tatsächlich ausgeführte Preis könnte dann bei 3462 € liegen. Die Differenz von 2 € zwischen dem erwarteten Preis (3460 €) und dem tatsächlichen Preis (3462 €) nennt man Slippage. Slippage bezeichnet die Differenz zwischen dem erwarteten Preis eines Handels und dem tatsächlichen Ausführungspreis. Slippage tritt häufig in Phasen hoher Volatilität auf, wenn Market-Orders genutzt werden. Eine Market-Order garantiert, dass dein Handel ausgeführt wird, aber es besteht die Möglichkeit, dass du Slippage erleidest und einen schlechteren Preis erhältst als erwartet. Slippage bedeutet nicht zwangsläufig eine negative Bewegung, da jede Abweichung zwischen erwartetem und tatsächlichem Preis darunter fällt. Wenn Orders ausgeführt werden, erfolgt der Kauf oder Verkauf zum bestmöglichen verfügbaren Preis. Dies kann dazu führen, dass der Preis besser, gleich oder schlechter als erwartet ausfällt, was als positive Slippage, keine Slippage oder negative Slippage bezeichnet wird. Warum wurde meine Market-Order zu einem anderen Preis ausgeführt?

   Definitionen:    Tothemoon Perpetual Futures Contract: Unser Perpetual Futures Contract ist ein Derivatkontrakt, der an den Preisindex von BTC als Basiswert gebunden ist.    Indexpreis: Der Indexpreis ist der durchschnittliche Marktpreis verschiedener Börsen. Die für den Indexpreis verwendeten Börsen sind unabhängig, um Preismanipulationen zu vermeiden.    Funding Rate: Die Funding Rate bestimmt Gelder, die alle 8 Stunden (04:00 UTC, 12:00 UTC, 20:00 UTC) gezahlt oder erhalten werden. Es gibt also 3 Funding-Intervalle pro Tag. Du zahlst oder erhältst die Funding Rate nur, wenn du zu diesen Zeiten eine Position hältst. Wenn du deine Position vor dem Funding schließt, zahlst oder erhältst du keine Funding Rate. Ist die Funding Rate positiv, zahlen Long-Positionen an Short-Positionen. Ist sie negativ, zahlen Short-Positionen an Long-Positionen. Tothemoon erhebt keine Gebühren auf die Funding Rate oder deren Austausch, diese erfolgt direkt peer-to-peer. Die Funding Rate dient dazu, den Kontraktpreis nahe am Indexpreis zu halten und Manipulationen zu verhindern.    Mark Price: Der Mark Price zeigt den nicht realisierten Gewinn/Verlust (Unrealized PNL) an. Er wird zur Berechnung der Liquidation verwendet und verhindert Preismanipulation. Formel: Mark Price = Index Price × (1 + Funding Rate × (Zeit bis Funding / Funding Intervall))    Open Interest: Die Gesamtanzahl der Kontrakte im Orderbuch.    Total Balance: Gesamtbewertung der Vermögenswerte des Kunden.    Equity: Summe aus Total Balance und Unrealized PNL.    Available: Verfügbare Mittel auf dem Konto, die für den Handel genutzt werden können.    Initial Margin: Der Betrag, der benötigt wird, um eine gehebelte Position zu eröffnen.    Maintenance Margin: Die Maintenance Margin beträgt 50 % der Initial Margin. Sinkt deine Marge unter diesen Wert, wird die Position durch Liquidation geschlossen.    Unrealized PNL: Gewinn oder Verlust, berechnet als Differenz zwischen durchschnittlichem Kaufpreis und Mark Price. Tothemoon bietet 100-fachen Hebel auf Bitcoin Perpetual Futures an, ein hochvolatiles Produkt mit hohem Ausfallrisiko.    Zur Absicherung gegen Verluste wurde ein Versicherungsfonds eingerichtet. Beim Öffnen einer Position werden Liquidations- und Konkurs-Preise berechnet.    Wenn der durchschnittliche Liquidationspreis schlechter ist als der Konkurs-Preis, deckt der Versicherungsfonds Verluste. Sind die Mittel im Fonds nicht ausreichend, greift das Auto-Deleveraging.    Liegt der Liquidationspreis besser als der Konkurs-Preis, fließen Mittel in den Versicherungsfonds.      Was ist Auto-Deleveraging (ADL)?    ADL ist ein Mechanismus, wenn der Versicherungsfonds nicht ausreicht, um Verluste auszugleichen.    In diesem Fall werden die profitabelsten Positionen am Markt automatisch geschlossen, um Verluste zu decken.      Auszahlungen:    Futures-Auszahlungen werden einmal täglich um 10:00 UTC bearbeitet.    Die Verarbeitung kann bis zu 2 Stunden dauern.    Bitte reiche Auszahlungsanträge bis 10:00 UTC ein, um noch am selben Tag berücksichtigt zu werden.

 Das Handeln von Futures-Kontrakten auf Tothemoon ist nicht so kompliziert, wie es auf den ersten Blick scheint. Aber Vorsicht: Futures-Handel birgt höhere Risiken als der Handel am Spotmarkt. Wenn du bereits ein verifiziertes Tothemoon-Konto hast, kannst du in wenigen Minuten mit dem Futures-Handel starten.  Bevor du loslegst, ist es sinnvoll, die wichtigsten Begriffe des Futures-Marktes zu verstehen. Nachfolgend findest du die Grundbegriffe, die du kennen solltest:    Futures sind Vertragsvereinbarungen, einen Vermögenswert zu einem festgelegten Preis in der Zukunft zu kaufen oder zu verkaufen. Beim Abschluss eines Futures-Kontrakts kaufst du den Vermögenswert nicht direkt, denn ein Futures-Kontrakt ist ein Derivat. Hauptunterschied zum Spotmarkt: Im Spotmarkt besitzt du den Vermögenswert; beim Futures-Handel nimmst du nur eine Position auf den Vermögenswert ein, ohne ihn tatsächlich zu besitzen.    Hebel (Leverage) ist eines der wichtigsten Werkzeuge im Futures-Handel. Hebel ermöglicht es dir, deinen Gewinn zu maximieren. Beispiel: Um 1 BTC am Spotmarkt zu kaufen, brauchst du je nach Marktpreis zehntausende Dollar. Angenommen, Bitcoin kostet aktuell 15.000 USD, du benötigst also 15.000 USD, um 1 BTC zu kaufen. Ein Futures-Kontrakt erlaubt dir, eine Position auf 1 BTC zu eröffnen, indem du nur einen Bruchteil des Betrags als Sicherheit hinterlegst. Je höher der Hebel, desto weniger Kapital musst du einsetzen – aber desto höher ist auch das Risiko der Liquidation. Bei x10 Hebel brauchst du nur 1.500 USD für einen Kontrakt auf 1 BTC. Hinweis: Hebel ist beim Spot-Handel nicht verfügbar.    Long-Position: Kauf eines Vermögenswertes in Erwartung steigender Preise. Vergleichbar mit einem Kauf. Long-Händler nennt man „Bullen“ (bulls). Ein steigender Markt heißt „bullish“.    Short-Position: Einstieg in eine Position in Erwartung fallender Preise. Beim Shorten „leihst“ du dir den Vermögenswert von der Börse und verkaufst ihn zum aktuellen Preis. Sinkt der Preis, kaufst du den Vermögenswert günstiger zurück und gibst ihn zurück; die Differenz ist dein Gewinn. Auf unserer Plattform passiert dieser Vorgang automatisiert – du musst nichts manuell leihen oder verkaufen. Short-Händler heißen „Bären“ (bears). Ein fallender Markt wird „bearish“ genannt.    Liquidation der Position: Die zwangsweise Schließung einer Position aufgrund unzureichender Maintenance Margin. Es gibt mehrere Möglichkeiten:    Du kannst an die Adresse deines Futures-Wallets einzahlen, oder    du überträgst Geld von deinem Exchange-Wallet auf dein Futures-Wallet. Für den Futures-Handel stehen zwei Basiswerte zur Verfügung: USDT und BTC.      Zur Futures-Seite gehen Wechsle zur Futures-Handelsseite.    Hebel wählen Klicke auf den Button „Cross“ und wähle den gewünschten Hebel für deine Position.    Position auswählen Wähle aus, ob du eine Long- oder Short-Position eröffnen möchtest, die Orderart und die Positionsgröße. Du kannst Positionen sowohl zum Marktpreis als auch als Limit-Order eröffnen.  Es gibt zwei zusätzliche Ordertypen im Futures-Handel: Stop Market und Stop Limit. Stop Market wird bei Erreichen eines Stop-Preises ausgelöst und als Market Order zum aktuellen Preis ausgeführt. Stop Limit wird ebenfalls bei Erreichen des Stop-Preises aktiviert, aber die Order wird erst zum festgelegten Limitpreis platziert. Der Unterschied ist, dass nach Erreichen des Stop-Preises eine Order zum Limitpreis ins Orderbuch gestellt wird.    Position eröffnen und Gewinne erzielen!    Risikohinweis: Futures-Handel ist ein hochriskantes Finanzinstrument. Durch den Einsatz von Hebel können Gewinne maximiert, aber auch erhebliche Verluste verursacht werden.  How to configure the Futures Trading Bot?   Choose the contract and click on the futures grid option.  Then select if you want to go Short Long or you may choose both options.  Then indicate the lowest price you think it will reach and the upper price.  You'll see the space down below where you may choose the number of orders you want the bot to make, between 2 to 100. It depends on your strategy and the risk you want to assume.   After completing the bot creation, we only need to indicate the investment we want to use for this bot and choose the amount of the profit in percentage for each grid order placed. Bank transfer transactions are processed within 1-3 business days, and if a withdrawal is made to any bank except Unlimit, then the time may also be increased due to transfers between banks.  Transaction processing time may be increased on bank holidays or weekends.  You can withdraw funds only to a bank account in which the name and surname of the owner match the name and surname in your Tothemoon account.  In case of rejection of the transaction, your funds will be returned within 14 days.  The withdrawals can only be sent to banks in the countries that we currently support.   What are the fees for the crypto deposits?  There are no fees for crypto deposits on Tothemoon.  What are the limits for crypto deposits?  There are no limits for crypto deposits, however, you can be limited to the maximum amount depending on your verification level.  What happens if I send the wrong coin?  Cryptocurrency transactions, in their absolute majority, are irreversible. This means that if you send the wrong coin to the wrong wallet, it will probably be lost forever.  How do I get a wallet address?  Getting a wallet is fairly easy for most currencies. However, there are countless options out there depending on your needs and how safe you want to be. Any wallet you get will give you the possibility to generate addresses. If you don’t see a “Generate address” or “My addresses” button, you can normally generate one on the “Receive/Send” section. On Tothemoon you can get the deposit address by clicking the Deposit button.  Where is my crypto deposit?  First, please check if the transaction ID exists in the blockchain, as the wallets might delay the broadcasting. The transaction ID is a string of numbers and letters that you can use to verify your transfer data in the network. If the transaction already exists in the blockchain, please check whether it has enough confirmations. Different currencies can have different processing times. For example, ETH transactions are normally substantially faster than the BTC ones (several minutes versus up to an hour). If you believe your transaction is taking longer than expected, please contact our Support Team. Please note: for some currencies, such as XRP or XLM, specifying a tag when sending a transaction is mandatory. If the tag is not specified or is specified incorrectly, it will result in your funds being lost.   How do I make a crypto deposit?  You can make cryptocurrency deposits on Tothemoon without any fees. Please go to the Balances page, select a currency and click "Deposit": Then choose the Balance (Exchange or Futures), Wallet, Currency and click "Next":  Next, you will see the address for the deposit:   *Please check the network where the funds will be sent.  What are the withdrawal fees?   On the Tothemoon platform, you can make an instant withdrawal to an external cryptocurrency wallet. You can check the fees for each currency, minimum amounts, and available networks in our article Tothemoon Fees.  How can I speed up unconfirmed transactions?  After the transaction has been broadcasted to the network, there’s usually no way of affecting it and you can just wait for the confirmation. To make this process faster for future transactions, you can choose to pay a higher fee when setting up your transaction so it can be included in the block earlier.  What is a confirmation?  Transactions within the blockchain network are validated only when a certain number of miners (minimum of 3) confirm their authenticity and include them in the blocks that become part of the blockchain. When your transaction is broadcasted to the network, you need to wait for it to be confirmed by a sufficient amount of miners in order to be validated.  The processing is delayed, what should I do?  Crypto transactions depend on a certain number of approvals by the network to be validated. This can take slightly longer or less time than expected. However, you can check the status of your transaction by using the transaction ID on a blockchain explorer such as blockchain.info or etherscan.io  What if I sent the transaction to the incorrect address?  Unfortunately, all transactions broadcasted to the blockchain are irreversible. Once your coins are sent, it is practically impossible to recover them. However, there are some rare situations in which the transaction might fail and the money might be sent back. For example, Bitcoin addresses contain a built-in check code, so it's generally not possible to send Bitcoins to a mistyped address. However, if the address is well-formed but no one owns it, any coin sent to that address will be lost.  My withdrawal is Pending/In progress  Sometimes withdrawals may take longer than usual to process a transaction. If we need additional verification for security purposes, we will contact you via your account email. Please do not hesitate to contact our Support Team if you have any additional questions.  How do I make the crypto withdrawal?  In order to make a crypto withdrawal, please go to the Balances page, and click Withdraw: Next, choose the Balance (Exchange or Futures) and the Wallet (Currency): In the next step, add the wallet address, choose the network and the amount:  Normally, cryptocurrency withdrawals are processed within a few minutes. *Please check the network where the funds will be sent. Crypto withdrawals

 Cryptocurrencies that are based on blockchains using the Proof of Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism require their native crypto to be staked. This helps with validating transactions and maintaining the efficiency and security of the blockchain.  

 Staking cryptocurrencies is one of the least risky options to grow your assets. At Tothemoon, we only support protocol staking, in which slashing is the only risk you may need to worry about. 

 When you stake your crypto, you’re rewarded for providing your funds to support the blockchain. Your rewards can be accumulated by staking or are automatically sent to your wallet. The frequency of your rewards depends on the blockchain you choose to stake with.  

 You can unstake funds at any time. Rewards will stop accruing after the staking is closed, but you will get back the amount you used based on your selected staking option and unbonding period. 

 There are no gas fees when using Tothemoon’s staking solutions. But by self-staking you may incur fees and this non-custodial option can also be expensive to set up due to the amount of crypto required and computational power necessary to run nodes.

How do we list our token on Tothemoon?

 The project must fulfill the following conditions:   The legal entity must be incorporated in one of the available countries.  The following market-making requirements must be met: 2.1. The average 24-hour spread should not be more than 1% bid/ask. 2.2 Minimum of $10,000 daily trading volume per trading pair starting from the date of the trading launch. 2.3 Trades should at least be executed every 30 minutes. 2.4 Have a minimum of $1,000 within a 1.9% spread of ask orders. 2.5 Have a minimum of $1,000 within a 1.9% spread of bid orders  

What are the requirements to get listed on Tothemoon?

  Due Diligence. Our expert Listing Team performs a standard check-up on the project, evaluating such elements as the product itself, team and founders, media presence, code, community, and tokenomic review.  KYB (Know Your Business). For our Legal and AML Teams to perform the KYB procedure, your dedicated Listing Manager will request a set of basic documents on the legal entity and a simple questionnaire to fill out and sign.  Finalizing onboarding. Both parties sign a standard Listing Agreement, provided to you by the Listing Manager.  By staking with Tothemoon you minimize the potential risks associated with staking crypto. However, self-custodial staking is more complex and therefore has more risks associated - it requires a significant amount of crypto, there is the potential for slashing (where some of your funds can be lost), and if set up incorrectly, users risk losing all of their staked crypto. 

 By staking with Tothemoon you can trust our reliable and verified staking partners who are highly experienced validators and node operators. 

 Tothemoon currently supports crypto staking for Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL) and Polkadot (DOT), Kusama (KSM), Near (NEAR), and The Graph (GRT), with many more planned for the future.   

 In order to start staking, you need to make a cryptocurrency deposit and pass verification before that. You can find out what levels of verification we have and what documents are required in our article Tothemoon verification process.  

  Log in to the Tothemoon Exchange and click the “Grow” tab.  Select a crypto to stake and click “Next”. Choose the options (Fixed or Flexible) and the amount.   Activate "Automatic reward staking" to accumulate your reward every day and click “Confirm”.  Start earning rewards! You can follow the results on the Tothemoon Grow - Open page and in your Balance dashboard.   

 You can top up your balance using a crypto deposit or a bank card deposit. On the Buy Crypto page, you can swap fiat for cryptocurrency and then use it for staking. 

 You will receive rewards from your staked assets on Tothemoon once a week. 

 The rewards from staking are determined by the relevant protocol. However, you can influence the percentage of the APR by choosing a Fixed or Flexible Staking type. The Fixed type of staking implies a higher APR. 

 The main difference is in the unbonding period. This is the amount of time you need to wait to get the unstaked amount.   By choosing a Flexible type of staking, you will have the option to get the unstaked amount without unbonding period with a lower APR.  By choosing a Fixed Staking type, you can get the unstaked amount with the higher offering APR and by unbonding period.   

 Click on the Transaction tab on the Grow page to see the rewards for your current staked crypto. To see all rewards earned in the closed stakings, please check the History tab on the Grow page. 

 Your staked coins can be unstaked anytime immediately with our Flexible option or after the end of the unbonding period with our Fixed option. Then, your rewards will be auto-credited to your available balance on the Tothemoon Exchange once they’re unstaked. 

 Tothemoon will pay yield out of its own platform income to provide yields for your stake. The APR varies based on market conditions and APRs provided by PoS protocols. 

 There are no hidden fees. The fee charged by Tothemoon is already included in the APR.

 Um deine eigene Tothemoon Card zu beantragen, besuche einfach unsere App.   Zunächst musst du dich bei Tothemoon registrieren und die KYC-Verifizierung abschließen.  Zusätzlich bitten wir dich, zur maximalen Sicherheit die Zwei-Faktor-Authentifizierung (2FA), biometrische Authentifizierung und einen PIN-Code einzurichten.  Anschließend wirst du gebeten, einen kurzen Fragebogen zu deinem Konto auszufüllen.  Sobald alle Schritte abgeschlossen sind, kannst du die Debitkarte direkt über unsere mobile App beantragen – folge dabei den Anweisungen sorgfältig. Kann ich mit der Tothemoon Card Belohnungen erhalten?

 Deine Tothemoon Card ist mit deinem USDC-Spot-Guthaben verknüpft. Alle Stablecoins, die du in deinem USDC-Spot-Guthaben hast, werden zur Abdeckung von Kartentransaktionen verwendet.  Derzeit ist USDC der einzige unterstützte Token für die Karte – wir arbeiten jedoch daran, in Zukunft weitere Optionen für dich bereitzustellen. 

Wie lade ich meine Tothemoon Card auf?

 Die Tothemoon Card verwendet unterschiedliche Wechselkurse, wobei die Transaktionsabwicklung in EUR erfolgt.  Ist deine ursprüngliche Transaktion in Euro, wird der EUR/USDC-Spotkurs von Tothemoon angewendet. Verwendest du eine andere Währung als Euro? Dann basiert der Wechselkurs zunächst auf dem Kurs deiner Landeswährung gegenüber dem Euro (bereitgestellt durch unseren Zahlungsdienstleister) und anschließend auf dem EUR/USDC-Spotkurs bei Tothemoon. Welchen Wechselkurs verwenden wir?

 Wenn du zu den ersten Nutzern der Tothemoon Card gehörst, zahlst du keine Wartungsgebühren! Wir übernehmen die Wartungskosten für dich in den ersten Monaten nach dem Launch der Karte. Gibt es Wartungsgebühren für die Tothemoon Card?

 Die Gebühren pro Transaktion setzen sich aus einer festen Gebühr plus einem prozentualen Anteil am Transaktionsbetrag zusammen (siehe Tabelle unten). EWR umfasst die EU-Mitgliedstaaten, Island, Liechtenstein und Norwegen.   Transaktionsart  Gebühr  Kartenzahlungen innerhalb des EWR  0.15 %  Kartenzahlungen außerhalb des EWR  1.4 % + €0.30  Bargeldabhebungen in EUR innerhalb EWR   0.15 % + €0.45  Bargeldabhebungen in EUR außerhalb EWR   0.9 % + €0.75  Bargeldabhebungen in Nicht-EUR-Währungen   0.65 % + €2.00     

Welche Transaktionsgebühren fallen bei der Tothemoon Card an?

 Wenn du dich für die Tothemoon Card anmeldest und verifiziert wirst, erhältst du keine physische Karte. Es handelt sich um eine virtuelle Karte, die du in die Wallet deines Smartphones integrieren kannst – sowohl Apple Wallet als auch Google Wallet werden unterstützt. Außerdem kannst du die Karte über die Tothemoon Mobile App nutzen. 

Kann ich eine physische Karte erhalten?

 Wenn du Probleme hast, mit deiner Karte zu bezahlen, kontaktiere am besten unser Kunden-Support-Team. Bitte stelle vorher sicher, dass du die Karte nicht für Bargeldtransfers auf ein anderes Konto nutzt und dass sie ausschließlich für Offline- und Online-Einkäufe bei Händlern verwendet wird. 

Ich kann nicht mit der Tothemoon Card bezahlen. Was soll ich tun?

 Für die Nutzung der Tothemoon Card gibt es bestimmte Kontolimits. Welche Limits gelten?

 Unsere Karte bieten wir Nutzern an, die Level 3 der KYC-Verifizierung auf unserer Börse bestanden haben. Dafür musst du entsprechende Dokumente einreichen und einen Fragebogen von uns ausfüllen.  Wir weisen darauf hin, dass dein Antrag von unserem Kartenanbieter abgelehnt werden kann, da dieser eigene Prüfungen durchführt. Antragsteller müssen innerhalb der Europäischen Union wohnen und die erforderlichen Nachweise erbringen. Institutionelle Nutzer können die Karte derzeit nicht nutzen, sie ist nur für private Anleger verfügbar. Außerdem müssen bei der Beantragung alle Sicherheitsfunktionen auf deinem Tothemoon-Konto aktiviert sein, darunter die Zwei-Faktor-Authentifizierung (2FA) und ein Sicherheits-PIN.
